The Classic Crime is a band originally from Bellingham, Washington, now based in Seattle. They are currently signed to Tooth & Nail Records, and consist of Matt MacDonald (vocals), Alan Clark (bass), Robbie "Cheeze" Negrin (guitar), Paul Erickson (drums), and Justin Duque (guitar). Their debut album Albatross was released on May 23, 2006. Their most succesful song released has been "The Coldest Heart".[citation needed]

There has been discussion among many fans regarding Christianity in their songs and whether or not they are a Christian rock band.[2] This is heightened by the fact that they are signed to the Christian record label 'Tooth and Nail', and have played at Christian rock festivals.[3] Their new CD Acoustic EP-Seattle Sessions is in stores Nov. 6th
