The Dai-ichi Mutual Life Insurance Company (第一生命保険相互会社 Dai-ichi Seimei Hoken Sōgo-gaisha?), or Dai-ichi Life for short, is the second largest life insurer in Japan measured by revenue, only behind Nippon Life Insurance Company.

It is also the oldest mutual insurance company in Japan, founded on September 15, 1902.
