Plot
The Frightening is a horror film set in a high school. Not long after Corey Patterson (Matt Twining) and his mother (Brinke Stevens) move into a new town, he is involved in a school rivalry between the popular kids and the outsiders. Soon they all have a deeper problem to deal with. It's Corey Peterson's first day at Hallow End High School (nicknamed Halloween High). He had moved to this small town with his mother due to a traumatic incident in his past. During his first day, he is approached by a fellow new arrival named Mason. His new friend warns him this -his- friend, who had attended the school, has died. Mason warns Corey to stay away from the wrestler Perry and the people who follow him.
After two students vanish, Corey attempts to consult with the principal but gets nowhere. Corey and Mason then team up to get to the bottom of the mystery.
