High Consistory, The (1981), a novel by Francis Stuart. In a plane crash on a flight from Paris to Ireland, the diaries and memoirs of Simon Grimes, the artist-hero of the novel, are mixed together, and the narrative follows the accidental re-ordering of these documents with much shuttling back and forth in time.
