  • Genre: Music
  • Movie Type: Concerts

Plot

Three of Ireland's most gifted singers -- Anthony Kearns, Finbar Wright, and Ronan Tynan -- once again raise their voices in song for a special concert presentation. The Irish Tenors: Ellis Island was recorded before a live audience at the massive Registry Room on historic Ellis Island, where many Irish immigrants got their first glimpse of life in the United States as they left their lives on the Old Sod behind; appropriately, the program is dominated by songs relevant to the Irish-American experience. The Irish Tenors perform 19 songs in this concert, including "Isle of Hope, Isle of Tears," "Danny Boy," "The Green Fields of France," "How Are Things in Glocca Morra," and "God Bless America." ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide
