The LangaList is a well-regarded, free, twice-weekly email newsletter that aims to help its subscribers "get more more from your hardware, software, and time online." It offers tips and tricks, free downloads, answers to users' questions, and recommendations and advice from Fred Langa, the list's publisher, all of which serve to keep readers au courant with the personal computing world.
There is also a paid version which provides more content with no advertisements; a portion of the profits goes to support 12 underprivileged children around the world plus other relief efforts. The two newsletters combined have 160,000 subscribers.
