Plot

This moving documentary was made in 1964, just months after President Kennedy's tragic assassination yet it was not released until decades later. It chronicles the story of John Kennedy's privileged childhood, and his entry into public service. The youthful Kennedy first served as secretary to his father, Joseph P. Kennedy, who was the American ambassador to Great Britain. John Kennedy then went on to be a U. S. Congressman, and of course, President of the United States. The story of his Naval career and bravery is told. His storybook wedding to Jacqueline Bouvier is another highlight. The film has rare footage from the brief moment of "Camelot". ~ Rose of Sharon Winter, All Movie Guide
