Plot

Rhoda (Valerie Harper) regards the fact that she claimed to be a college graduate on her job application to be a mere little white lie. But Mary (Mary Tyler Moore) is shocked, and wastes no time saying so. The resultant argument threatens to cause a permanent rift between Mary and Rhoda, exacerbated by bullheaded stubbornness on both sides.
