Plot

Sight unseen, the staff of "Event" magazine chooses the Munsters as a "typical American family." Not wishing to be part of this enterprise, a sullen Grandpa (Al Lewis) sabotages the interview and photo shoot--and Herman (Fred Gwynne) and Lily (Yvonne Carlo) manage to make things worse purely by accident.
