Review

The first of five CDs featuring Nat King Cole (all are available as part of a five-CD box set), this release from the budget label Laserlight contains 15 concise performances from the Trio on radio transcriptions from 1944-45. Each of the tracks is enjoyable with "What Can I Say After I Say I'm Sorry," "How High the Moon" and "Sweet Lorraine" being most memorable. ~ Scott Yanow, All Music Guide
