Craig Biddle is an American Objectivist intellectual, the editor and publisher of The Objective Standard and author of Loving Life: The Morality of Self Interest and the Facts that Support it, a popular book that serves as an introduction to Ayn Rand's ethics. Contents

Ayn Rand

Biddle read and extensively studied the works of Ayn Rand and became convinced of "the truth of her philosophy." He believes in the moral standard of self-interest: that it is "a proper code of values and a proper morality."[citation needed]

The Objective Standard

In 2006, Craig Biddle started The Objective Standard (TOS), a journal on culture and politics written from the Objectivist perspective. Article topics range from education to health care to terrorism to environmentalism to business to science to the arts. The articles are based on the idea "that there are demonstrably objective standards by reference to which we can assess what is true or false, good or bad, right or wrong."[citation needed] Several fellows from the Ayn Rand Institute, such as Yaron Brook, Elan Journo, and Alex Epstein, have written for the journal.

TOS maintains a blog called Principles in Practice and regularly posts material from the Ayn Rand Institute on its blog.

Future

Craig Biddle, as the editor and publisher of "The Objective Standard", is currently writing a book on the principles of rational thinking and the violations of those principles. He also lectures and teaches workshops from an Objectivist perspective.[citation needed]
