Biography

Rockabilly revivalists the Orbits consist of members Thayne Bradford (fiddle, guitar, vocals), Vince Corkery (bass), Scott Hughes (drums), Bob Breidenbach (vocals, lap steel guitar), and Jon Ferber (guitar). Most of the band has been playing together since 1985, and the quintet often mixes original songs with covers by their influences (Buddy Holly, Gene Vincent, Duke Ellington, Tennessee Ernie Ford, Amos Milburn, etc.) in concert. The Orbits have issued an LP studio release, 1998's Crazy Beat, on the Wildstone Audio label. ~ Greg Prato, All Music Guide
