Plot

Religious fanatic Thomas Tilford (David Ogden Stiers) has made it his mission in life to stage-manage the Second Coming. To this end, Rev. Tilford uses DNA from the Shroud of Turin to fashion a human embryo, which is promptly implanted in the uterus of young Marie Wells (Samantha Mathis). But Marie and her husband Justin (Robert Wisden) have their own plans for their "special" baby -- who, as it turns out, has several surprises in store for everyone concerned.
