The innocence of playful pop remained in The Poconos sound until their break up in 1999. Consisting of only two members, Mike (vocals/drums) and Tammi (vocals/guitar) provided their hometown of Hoboken, New Jersey with simple, lo-fi love songs in which they both shared microphone time. Seattle's Jigsaw Records took notice and released their only EP Days Are Getting Shorter in 1999. But because of conflicting schedules between both members, The Poconos ended not too long after its release. ~ Mike DaRonco, All Music Guide
