The Politically Incorrect Guide is a book series by Regnery Publishing presenting "politically incorrect" beliefs on various topics. The books are written by different authors and generally present a conservative or libertarian viewpoint on the subject at hand.

Content
Each Politically Incorrect Guide contains the following:
- Cover teasers that summarize ideas presented in the book.
- Contents which list all the questions each Guide will be answering, contained within the appropriate chapter.
- Guess What sections, which oppose common liberal viewpoints.
- PC Myth which discusses ideas that are widely believed but which the authors see as completely false. This is followed by a discussion of why the idea is believed and what they believe the truth is.
- Boxed texts
- A Book You're Not Supposed to Read (with a pig at the top of each box) lists books that challenge "politically correct" opinions about topics covered in the Guide in question
- PIG which lists quotes from notable authors supporting the opinions given. These feature a picture of a microphone at the top of each box.
Some books have variations on this theme, such as:
- "Muhammad versus Jesus" quotes in the Guide to Islam, which aim to suggest Muhammad preached violence and Jesus nonviolence.
- What They Don't Want You To Learn From... in the Guide to English and American Literature.
- A Book Atheists Want To Burn instead of A Book You're Not Supposed to Read in the Guide to The Bible.
Reader-selected expansion
One feature of the Politically Incorrect Guides series is the fact that readers can (through Regnery's associate Human Events) vote for what topics should be covered by the series in the future. A poll in 2006[1] said that the most important topics not yet covered were the Constitution, the Bible, and capitalism: of which books for all three topics were since published.

Criticisms
A pro-evolution website, The Panda's Thumb, reviewed The Politically Incorrect Guide to Darwinism and Intelligent Design calling it incorrect "scientifically, logically, historically, legally, academically, and morally", and giving analysis on 9 of the 17 chapters in the book.[2] Some historians also took issue with The Politically Incorrect Guide to the Civil War, criticising its "cherry-picked research and one-sided judgments of figures" [3] and accusing it of advocating Neo-Confederate ideas.
