Plot

In a "George Appleby" comedy sketch, George (Red Skelton) is terrified at the prospect of giving blood at the local Red Cross. Shirley Mitchell plays George's wife Clara, while the role of the nurse is enacted by singer Phyllis McGuire. Phyllis then joins her singing sisters in a medley from My Fair Lady; the girls also perform "Start the New Year Right" and "Dear Heart".
