Cesar Romero guest stars in "The Election Show." It all begins when a crooked mayor (Red Skelton) absconds to South America with the city treasury. Local political boss Bill Bill (Romero) casts about for a replacement, one who will be dumb enough to do whatever he is told. The man needed is the man found: A doltish City Hall elevator operator (also played by Skelton). "The Election Show" was orginally telecast in color on February 7, 1956. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
