The evocative music composed and performed by Edwin Astley and His Orchestra for the popular 1960s TV spy series The Saint is compiled on this engaging collection of suave and sophisticated instrumental themes; while the program's indelible main theme, appropriated by Orbital for the disappointing 1997 Saint feature, is the clear highlight, other cuts like the Eastern-flavored "Ying-Tong-Piddle-Ay-Kilt" and the aptly-titled "Slinky" perfectly establish the mood of 1960s-era espionage as well. ~ Jason Ankeny, All Music Guide
