Biography

The Van Delecki's, who draw their name from an episode of The Andy Griffith Show, are a side project of the SpongeTones' Jamie Hoover and Let's Get Mikey's Bryan Shumate. The two released Letters from the Desk of Count S.Van Delecki on Permanent Press in 1996 with help from fellow Spongetones, Steve Stoeckel and Pat Walters as well as longtime friend Don Dixon. In the fall of 1999, the Van Delecki's returned with Ebum Shoobum Shoobum. ~ Chris Woodstra, All Music Guide
