Review
Hattie Little's voice is a powerful, charismatic instrument. This is not a ripoff, unlike some other Ian Levine Hot Productions. Hattie only had one single released on Gordy and it didn't receive much airplay. So there aren't any past Hattie hits to compare this to. Listening to this, you wonder why Berry Gordy didn't invest more in Hattie's career. Her rendition of "Come and Get These Memories" rivals Martha & the Vandellas' original. Hattie does the classic in a bluesy style. The quality of her voice is undeniable. ~ Andrew Hamilton, All Music GuideTracks
