The Village Green is a Portland, Oregon indie rock band, composed of lead vocalist/guitarist/composer J. Nicholas Allard and drummer/producer/back-up vocalist Jeremy Sherrer.
They have been compared to their influences, including The Beatles and The Kinks, whose famous album The Kinks Are the Village Green Preservation Society they name themselves after.[1]
