Review

Though it is equally fueled by Slayer and Metallica as it is by Minor Threat and the Cro-Mags, Themes From Everyday Life is definitely a hardcore album: angry, personal, and straight to the point. Beneath the anger though, Earthmover conveys a genuine love for playing music, and an enthusiastic energy that helps them forge a vibrant, original sound. This, along with extremely well-constructed, riff-filled songs, elevates their debut disc above similar mosh-ready efforts. ~ Matthew Kantor, All Music Guide
