Biography

Formed in the late '90s around the talents of guitarist/vocalist Isaac Jorgensen, vocalist/guitarist/keyboardist James Rightmer, guitarist/vocalist Mark Labriola (vocals/guitar), bassist Nate Phillips, and drummer Shaul Hagen, Colorado-based Christian rock collective Foolish Things play tight introspective modern rock in the vein of Switchfoot and Jimmy Eat World. After finding success on their own -- the band moved nearly 10,000 units before signing to a major -- the group inked a deal with Inpop Records and headed into the studio with producer Jason Houser (Matthew Sweet). Their full-length debut, Let's Not Forget the Story, arrived in July 2006. ~ James Christopher Monger, All Music Guide

History

The band took their name from 1 Corinthians 1:27-29 "God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise". [1]

The band won the coveted Music in the Rockies competition for unknown Christian artists in 2000. [1]

They had been putting out demo CDs and EPs for many years when they released a much anticipated full length album titled Let's Not Forget the Story on July 18, 2006.[2]

After releasing their second full length album in early 2008, the band decided to part ways and played their last show in Denver on May 15th, 2008 at the Gothic Theatre.

Farewell Tour - May 2008

After an amazing 10 years of working together, during their tour, they announced that they will be disbanding.
