Review
This Is Chill Out: Late Night Sessions is a dynamic two-album collection featuring delectable cuts by Laurent Garnier, Rising Sun, Quest, and A Guy Called Gerald. Disc one showcases chic favorites: Ian Pooley's "Caracao Tambor" is stylish and sexy. Bobby Womack's collaboration with Rae & Christian on "Get a Life is smooth and sultry with R&B coolness, but also one of the album's finest selections. Disc two also stays with the elitist tone. De la Soul and Nightmares of Wax's "Keep On" is hip-hop delight; however, the soulful "Why Does My Heart" from Moby switches up emotion. For dance fundamentalists, a bonus CD featuring dance cuts by the Yellow Bar's Maceo P is also included. ~ MacKenzie Wilson, All Music GuideTracks
