This Is Gold is an 18-track Johnny Cash collection featuring material recorded for Sun Records in the '50s, including "Folsom Prison Blues," "The Wreck of the Old '97," "Next in Line," and "Guess Things Happen That Way." Although this isn't a bad budget-priced disc, there are far better collections available, offering more songs and better sound for not much more money. Also available are two more separate volumes in Disky's This Is Gold Johnny Cash series along with a three-disc box set that conveniently collects all 54 tracks. ~ Al Campbell, Rovi
