Timothy James Mara (July 29, 1887–February 16, 1959) was the founder and administrator for the New York Giants.
Mara died on February 16, 1959 and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1963.
He was the father of the late Wellington Mara, who also is in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and Jack Mara. His grandson, John Mara is currently the Giants' president.
