In baseball statistics, the term times on base, also abbreviated as TOB, is the cumulative total number of times a batter has been awarded for reaching base as a result of hits, walks and hit by pitches. This stat does not include times reaching first by way of error, dropped 3rd strike, fielders obstruction or a fielder's choice, making this statistic somewhat of a misnomer. The top thirty players on the career times on base list who are eligible for the Hall of Fame have all been inducted.
