Biography

The new-era disco-pop band Tin Star was formed in 1996 by vocalist Dave Tomlinson, guitarist/songwriter Tim Bricheno, and bassist/programmer Tim Gordine. After playing a few shows and recording a demo, the band signed to V2 and released their debut album the Thrill Kisser in 1999. Tin Star were a British trip-hop band formed in 1996.^[1] The group signed to V2 Records and released their debut album, The Thrill Kisser, in 1999. The group scored a hit on US rock radio with "Head", which peaked at #10 on the Billboard Modern Rock charts in 1999.^[2] A second LP, Dirty Bird, followed in 2001.

The group has since split up.
