Character Bio
BACKGROUND:Tiptup is the most musically inclined kart-racing turtle you'll ever meet. As the leader of a touring band of half-shelled reptiles, he tours the world hoping to make it big. When he's not performing, though, Tiptup has been known to try to help save the world a time or two.
When the undefeated alien racer Wizpig invaded Timber the tiger's home island, Tiptup joined such friends as Banjo, Diddy Kong and Conker to see who was fit to race against the large swine and force him to leave. With his small size, Tiptup's vehicles were always easy to handle though his top speed tended to suffer.
Once Wizpig was defeated, Tiptup returned to touring with his band. Eventually, his path crossed with Banjo again on the bear's quest to save his sister from a witch bent on ruling the world. Timber played his part in stopping her plans by supplying Banjo with a key item to his quest (after a little friendly competition, of course).

ROLE IN BANJO-KAZOOIE:
Tiptup's got a secret prize for the duo but he's not just gonna give it away, Banjo will have to match his musical wits to win it from him. After hearing a melody played by the band Banjo will use Kazooie's beak attack to hit the turtle shells in the proper sequence. Should they win the day they'll be rewarded with a very good prize. Just a hint: pay attention while the band is warming up for some hints on which shells are what notes.
