With so many fine Christmas collections on the market, it's refreshing to hear a Chanukah compilation as well done -- though comprised largely of performances by Jay Levy, To Life: Songs of Chanukah and Other Celebrations also features highlights from Mandy Patinkin ("Rabbi Elimeylekh"), the Weavers ("Tzena, Tzena, Tzena"), Theodore Bikel ("Chanukah, Oh Chanukah") and Nell Carter ("Maoz Tzur/Rock of Ages"). ~ Marvin Jolly, Rovi
