Toledo Maumees

The Toledo Maumees of 1890 were a short-lived baseball team in the American Association. They won 68 games, lost 64, and finished fourth in the nine-team league. Their home games were played at Speranza Park in Toledo, Ohio.

The Maumees were managed by former player Charlie Morton. Their top hitters were right fielder Ed Swartwood, who batted .327 with a slugging percentage of .444, and first baseman Perry Werden, who hit .295 with a slugging percentage of .456. Their two best pitchers were John Healy (22-21, 2.89) and Fred Smith (19-13, 3.27).
