Thomas E. "Tom" Virtue (born November 19, 1957) is an American actor who has guest starred in a number of television shows including Roseanne, 7th Heaven, Malcolm in the Middle, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Star Trek: Voyager, Arrested Development, The Secret World of Alex Mack, Entourage, Six Feet Under, Desperate Housewives, Drake & Josh, That's So Raven, Days of our Lives, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Shark, Mind of Mencia, The Secret Life of the American Teenager, and Nip/Tuck. He is perhaps best known for his role as Steve Stevens, the patriarch in the hit Disney Channel Original Series Even Stevens. He has starred in the Syfy hidden-camera reality show Scare Tactics. Virtue also had small roles in Kicking & Screaming with Will Ferrell in 2005 and Return to Me in 2000. More recently, he played a hot-air balloon pilot at the end of The Ugly Truth (2009).
