Biography

Nashville-based singer/songwriter Tommy Joe Wilson is a polished but rootsy artist with a bent toward modern country anthems and ballads. A native of East Texas, Wilson grew up listening to country music and eventually began trying his hand at writing and performing his own songs. Discovered by Stone Temple Pilots/Velvet Revolver lead singer Scott Weiland while performing in a local bar in 2006, Wilson was quickly signed to Weiland's then newly minted SoftDrive records.
