Torah magic is the Jewish equivalent to Gospel magic. It is stage magic in the service of teaching the articles of the Jewish faith to youngsters.[1]
Both the Tanakh and the Talmud consider conjuring as sinful. However, sleight-of-hand for entertainment purposes is perfectly acceptable as long as the performer doesn't make preternatural claims.[citation needed]

- Howard Jay Rubin is another Torah Magician/Jewish Educator who performs in California.[3]
- Rabbi Akiva Glickman, an Orthodox rabbi in Queens, NY, often utilizes magic when instructing his congregation.[1]
