The Toronto Environmental Coalition describes itself as "a grassroots organization" made up of 12 professional lawn care companies". They are currently (May 2004) campaigning against the City of Toronto bylaw which would restrict pesticide use.
Their name seems to be an imitation of the anti-pesticide organization Toronto Environmental Alliance.
