Wikipedia: TotalTV

TotalTV is the first Serbian Direct To Home (DTH) platform, offering over 80 digital TV channels via satellite. Owner of platform is the largest Serbian cable operator Serbia Broadband - Srpske kablovske mreže (SBB).

TotalTV is using the NDS Group VideoGuard system of scrambling. Platform is broadcast via Eutelsat W2 satellite (16.0E). In addition to Serbia, TotalTV is also available in Slovenia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.

Contents

TotalTV outside Serbia

Except for the originating country (Serbia), TotalTV is also available in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Slovenia and the Republic of Macedonia. In all four countries the packages are the same, except for in Slovenia where the package also contains some exclusively available Slovenian TV stations (Pop TV, Kanal A and TV3).

It is technically possible to use TotalTV in other countries as well, like Italy, Germany, Spain, France etc. All of those countries have satellite signal coverage of the platform's satellite, but to be able to descramble the channels you have to be a subscriber in one of the four countries where the package is available (Bosnia Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia or Slovenia). It is unclear whether such subscriptions are directly available to foreigners or not (if not, the use of a decoy is necessary).

Competition

The main DTH competitor of TotalTV in Serbia is the Digi TV platform from Romania. TotalTV claims they have 160000 subscribers in Serbia, about 30000 in Montenegro and about 50000 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, whereas DigiTV claims 100000 subscribers in Serbia.
