traffic aggregator

(1) An organization that combines traffic such as telephone calls or data services from a variety of companies or individuals to obtain a bulk rate. Hotels, hospitals and payphone providers are examples. See also content aggregator.

(2) An organization or individual that purchases defunct domain names and redirects users that still refer to them to some other site.
