Trashiyangtse (Dzongkha: གཡང་ཙེ) is one of the 20 dzongkhag (districts) comprising Bhutan. This dzongkhag was created in 1992 by separating the erstwhile Trashiyangtse dungkhag from Trashigang dzongkhag. This dzongkhag covers an area of 1437.9 km2.
Divisions
Trashiyangste is divided into eight gewogs:
- B Gewo
- Jamkhar Gewog
- Toetsho Gewog
- Tomzhangtshen Gewog
- Trashiyangtse Gewog (also called: Yangtse Gewog)
- Yalang Gewog
