Citizens of the United States and Canada do not need visas for tourist visits of up to 90 days. You’ll need to have a passport, valid for three months longer than you intend to stay, tickets and documents for your return or onward travel. Occasionally, you may be required to prove you have the means to support yourself during your stay so it is wise to have your credit cards or traveler’s checks within reach. As members of the European Union, subjects of the United Kingdom should carry their passports but are otherwise free to travel in France without restriction.
