Plot

This 49th episode of Travels in Europe With Rick Steves finds the host embarking upon a two-week sojourn through the Alps. On the French side of the mountain range, the tour arrives at the resort of Chamonix before boarding the Glacier Express to Switzerland and the Appenzell. As always happens whenever Rick goes through Alpine territory, viewers are greeted by the familiar sound of cowbells.
