Trichomonas is a genus of anaerobic protists that are parasites of vertebrates. included with the parabasalids.

Species of Trichomonas include
- Trichomonas vaginalis, an organism living inside the vagina of humans
- Trichomonas gallinae, which infects birds, and may resemble a parasite that infected the dinosaur Tyrannosaurus rex.[1]
