Tri Delta Transit, also known as the East Contra Costa Transit Authority, is the local public transportation provider for the eastern area of Contra Costa County in the San Francisco Bay Area of California, U.S.A.. It provides local bus service in the communities of Bay Point, Pittsburg, Antioch, Oakley, Brentwood, Discovery Bay, Byron, and Shore Acres. Tri-Delta Transit buses connect to the BART rapid transit system at Pittsburg/Bay Point and Concord.

As of January 2009, Tri Delta Transit operates 15 local bus lines on weekdays, 3 local bus lines on weekends and 3 Delta Express routes within eastern Contra Costa County ^[2].

Weekday service is provided on all routes except 392,393 and 394, which operate only on Weekends and holidays.

[390]: Operates during peak periods only;

[DX]: Route serves as an anti-commute service (mornings from Antioch, afternoons to Antioch).

Fares

Tri Delta Transit is proposing to increase fares in July of 2009 and July of 2010. Dial a Ride fares would increase in three phases ending in July 2011^[5]. The current fares are shown below^[6].

• ₮ In order to facilitate passenger connections between Tri Delta Transit and other agency, transfer slips are issued upon request at the time the proper fare is paid.

• East Bay Value Pass for US$60.00, value on all Tri Delta Transit, County Connection, Wheels and WestCAT fixed-route buses
• Commuter Punch Pass for US$18.00, with 10 fixed-route fares and 10 BART-to-Bus transfer fares

Intermodal Transfers and Regional Connectivity

The local transportation demand management organization 511 Contra Costa also provides information for intermodal transfers throughout the county, and works closely with Tri Delta to improve regional transit.
