Trinidad is a 4th class municipality in the province of Bohol, Philippines. According to the 2007 census, it has a population of 27,580 people. Trinidad is a derivation of the word Trinity, which Trinidad was part of the Diocese of Talibon. The town is known for Kawasan Falls and Batungay cave. The present mayor is Judith del Rosario Cajes.
