Trinity was a DC Comics limited series
by writer and artist Matt Wagner. The mini-series showed the first alliance of Batman, Superman, and Wonder
Woman.
Plot
Wonder Woman, Batman, and Superman battle against eco-terrorist Ra's Al Ghul, who allies with Bizarro and Amazonian renegade Artemis in a plot to hijack missiles and invade Themyscira.
Reaction
Critics applauded the series as an excellent run by Wagner.[citation needed]

- Together Wonder Woman, Superman and Batman are regarded as DC's The Big Three .
- Though this somewhat contradicts previous continuity, Ra's mentions that his blind Oracle has been with him since he was nine years old.
- Bizarro has the ability to break Wonder Woman's lasso of truth. This suggests that the lasso she had been carrying with her is a fake, and will need to be explained.
- Dick Grayson, Alfred Pennyworth, Aquaman (who shocks Batman), Lois Lane, and Diana's mother all make cameos.
