Three thousand years ago, Trollz lived happily in the world of Trollzopolis. All Trollz performed magic as part of everyday life. It became commonly used for transportation, communication, as well as entertainment. However, that all changed one day when Simon, an evil gremlin, stole most of the magic from the Trollz and used it for his own evil agenda of trying to take over the world.
It was not until ten Trollz (five young apprentices and their mentors) rose up to form a unit which sealed Simon away forever using the Magic of the Ten, preventing the destruction of the world.
However, the damage Simon inflicted still lingered and most of the magic had left Trollzopolis. As a result, in order to stop another magic war, only female Trollz were still able to cast magic, with the help of special items known as spellbeads which they receive the day their gems begin to glow. The gems were made of amber, a magical substance. It is put on their bellybuttons at birth and when it hardens, the get their glow.
In the present day, Trollzopolis is an urban environment and the citizens rely on cars, Spell Phones, and other gadgets for use. One day, five young girls (Amethyst, Ruby, Sapphire, Topaz, and Onyx) accidentally release Simon from his dimensional prison after they unwittingly use the Magic of the Five. Now, the five girls must find a way to banish Simon back to his prison and prevent him from taking over the present-day Trollzopolis.
Amethyst Van Der Troll: A pretty young Troll with very positive energy and a great outlook on life. She lives somewhere in the city with her mother and pet dog, Wa-Wa. Her gem is pink and shaped like a heart. Her Ancient is her grandmother. She likes Coal. She is 16. Her best friend is Ruby. And she is the leader of the BFFL's club. She is the most powerful Troll throughout Trollzopolis. Her outfit is a pink and white 2 piece shirt and skirt. With slipper like hotpink shoes with beads. Her hair is curly and pink with a purple bobby pin.
Ruby Trollman: The self-proclaimed VP of the BFFL group, she is bossy and self-centred while being not afraid to speak her mind. She also has a habit of taking charge of the gang and usually focuses way too much on her looks. Although this can get into her trouble, she will always back up her friends if things get bad and can easily realize her mistakes. Her gem is red and shaped like a star. Her Ancient is Obsidian, the owner of Obsidan's Spellz, a spell shop located in Trollzopolis Mall. She Likes Rock. She is 15 and she hates when people beat her at magic. She is not very paitient. Her outfit is white and red. With blue jeans and sneakers. Her hair is spikey and is shaped like a star.
Sapphire Trollzawa: An intelligent girl who prefers studying and is fairly laid back. She is talented when it comes to handling math or chemistry but is hopeless at launand red dry. Her Ancient is Mr Trollheimer. Her gem is blue and shaped like a flower. She Likes Alabaster. She is a nerdy popular girl with a passion for school work. She tries to talk her friends into social studies sleepover night but they always turn her down for shopping.She is 14. She does not have a pet. Her hair is blue and is put up in a pony tail.
Topaz Trollhopper: A ditzy but sweet Troll who tends to go off into her own world but her guideless reactions can often prove useful in times of trouble. she loves fashion and shopping. Her gem is yellow and is shaped like a diamond and her Ancient is Zirconia, spinell's wife. She used be scared of Zirconia but she learned to accept her. She Likes Jasper. Her hair is yellow with a green scrunchie.she is 13 year old
Onyx Von Trollenberg: The most level-headed girl, Onyx is not afraid to tell the truth and has a distaste for people who lie and manipulate others. She is very anit-social and unique as she dresses in Gothic-styled clothing with a gloomy outlook on life. Although she is good at poetry, she is the worst driver in the world and often has low self-confidence. Her gem is black-purple and is shaped like the moon. Her Ancient is Spinell, Zirconia's husband. She Likes Flint. Her hair is dark purple in 2 giant pigtails.she is 14 years old
Coal Trollwell: Boyfriend to Amethyst Van Der Troll and is a very clumsy Troll often getting into trouble. He is voiced by Jesse Moss.
Flint Trollentino: Boyfriend to Onyx Von Trollenberg.He is in a rock band, and loves writing poetry.

The tree turns out to be an old woman under a curse and now Onyx and Topaz take it upon themselves in rescuing her from the dragon, believing she is Onyx's ancient. |

With her new power from her Ancient, Topaz defeats Simon and the rest of the ceremony goes off without another hitch. |

During the fight, they both accidentally cause the bus to break down in the middle of the Haunted Woodz. To make matters worse, nighttime arrives and vicious ghost dogs appear and attack the kids. Now, all the Trollz must work together and utilize both the girl's magic and the boy's skills to fix the bus and escape the ghost dogs before they are all eaten. |

However, all the girls really want to do is head to the beach after being cooped up indoors all week. When a fight breaks out amongst the girls, a nearby volcano becomes active and threatens to erupt. Spinell tells the girls that the volcano is magically linked to their fighting and unless they get along and work together to stop the volcano, it will erupt and take out the entire island of Trollhiti. The girls go to the volcano & still argue, therefore making Amethyst fall in. Ruby casts a spell on her hair to make it extra long to save Amethyst's life. |
