Tropomodulin

Wikipedia: Tropomodulin

Tropomodulin is a protein which binds and caps the pointed end of actin, regulating the length of actin filaments in muscle and non-muscle cells. It functions in the presence of tropomyosin and nebulin to inhibit microfilament elongation. Inhibition of tropomodulin capping activity leads to dramatic increase in thin filament length from its pointed end.[1]
