Truth & Light: Music from the X-Files consists entirely of Mark Snow's original music for the sci-fi series, which is segued together by samples of dialogue from the show. Like the series, the music is evocative and eerie, and it holds up surprisingly well when isolated from the visuals. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
