Review

A winning collection of songs from Susanne Lewis and Bob Drake, who when not rocking in opposition with full-time group Thinking Plague create perfectly realized retro psychedelia that draws heavily on the sound of Syd Barrett-period Pink Floyd, Jefferson Airplane, and Moby Grape. Turn of the Screw is filled with strong and simple tunes that avoid messing with complexities, preferring just to deliver the raw elements in a stripped-back fashion that calls to mind Young Marble Giants with a dash of Patti Smith in Lewis' vocal range. ~ Skip Jansen, All Music Guide
