Review

Too Many Cooks strive a second time to break outside of Quebec with their modern pop sporting distinct Stones/Who vibes. While nothing novel, the group's skillful maneuvering of the contemporary/classic rock tightrope continues to show lots of breakthrough potential. Vocalist Richard D'Anjou seeds his delivery with an upper-register grittiness. Music mainman Dan Georgesco's guitars dominate "Turning," but the multi-instrumentalist also contributes Hammond B-3, piano, harpsichord, and clavinet. ~ Roch Parisien, All Music Guide
