Twin Hype's self-titled debut LP from 1989 is filled with zesty, energetic raps, as on "Do It to the Crowd," their biggest hit single (and best moment). Unfortunately, the themes on most of the other tracks were mundane, and the duo just couldn't keep up the energy level. ~ Ron Wynn, All Music Guide
